Building a house in the country--it could get harder
19.01.2005 The government currently encourages banks to provide a modest amount of support to poor communities--making it easier for the poor to get housing or the elderly to get low-cost bank accounts. The regulation that provides for this is in danger of being gutted, but the backlash has caused the feds to take pause, extending the public comment period until Jan. 24. 11.01.2005 À la suite du tremblement de terre et des tsunamis sans précédent qui se sont produits en Asie, la générosité des Canadiens est impressionnante.
