Flood in Bangladesh
22.08.2007 Weeks of heavy rain flooded over 30 percent of the country and left hundreds of homeless in Bangladesh, which is experiencing some of the worst flooding in recent years and terribly affecting day to day life. The estimation shows around 10 percent of the countryÂ’s 80,000 primary schools had been affected due to floods.

09.08.2007 Intel Corp. ties up with three Indian PC vendors, including HCL Infosystems Ltd., Wipro Ltd., and Zenith Computers Ltd to assemble the Classmate PC. 05.08.2007 WASHINGTON, Aug 5 (OneWorld) - Breastfeeding within the first hour of life can drastically reduce the number of early childhood deaths in developing countries, the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) said this week, adding that more than one third of child deaths occur during "the first fragile month of life."
