The internodium.org portal reported last week that US NGOs CHF Montenegro (Community, Habitat and Finance), International Relief and Development (IRD) and the Academy for Educational Development announced the implementation of “Montenegro Connect” project for establishment of wireless network on the whole territory of Montenegro.

The Youth Initiative for Human Rights organizes the three-day Strengthening Youth Capacity for Democratic Activism in Local Communities trainersÂ’ training, September 22-24, 2006. The training is open for activists from Nis, Kragujevac and Zrenjanin (20 persons from each of the cities).

The DOSTA activist movement of B&H citizens fighting for their dignity organized protest gathering in Sarajevo last Saturday, August 26, under the motto “Stop to Violence, Campaign Lies and Hate-Mongering”. The protests were held on Oslobodjenje-Alija Izetbegovic Square.

As a run up to the Indian Social Forum (ISF 2006), the first National Consultation for the Youth Forum has been scheduled for August 19-20 2006 at the Indian Social Institute in New Delhi on August 19 and 20. The Youth Forum India is a space for youth to come together and articulate their struggles and visions against the threat of neo-liberal, capitalist globalization and also uphold the secular, plural and gender sensitive framework of the other.

Tens of activists of MJAFT Movement build yesterday (on Wednesday) a wall at the Rinia Park to symbolize the gap and division existing between the executive and the real needs of the citizens. On the one side of this concrete wall the activists wrote some of the unfulfilled needs like lack of water supplies, lack of electric power or other basic services.
