Ekolevizja activists discussed the environmental problems created by "Kurum" steel mills in Elbasan
29.09.2005 Representatives and specialists of “Ekolevizja”, a group of environmental NGOs visited Elbasan on September 22, 2005. They met with the Mayor of Elbasan, Ardian Turku, the Rector Jani Dode and the Dean Ziso Themollari from the “Alexander Xhuvani” University. The main purpose of the meeting was to create new collaboration paths with the local government and to provide for the future sustainability of the civil society.

Traffick jams and pollution in Shkodra may not have reached the levels of Mumbai (on photo), but prevention is always necessary.
28.09.2005 Lufter Xhuveli, Minister of Environment, Forestry and Water Management, took part in the Car Free Day activities in Shkodra September 22. The Municipality of Shkodra collaborated with OSCE office, with the goal to promote action towards environment protection.

The CPCB has found that idol immersion is causing significant damage to the rivers.
