21.06.2007 The report “Hindon River: Gasping for Breath” is the result of a comprehensive scientific study undertaken by Janhit Foundation to evaluate the presence and extent of toxic pollutants within surface and groundwater resources of the Hindon River catchment. This report highlights the devastating impact of this contamination on the health of those living in the catchment areas.

14.06.2007 The study entitled “Restoring Daurala: Mitigating Industrial Pollution - A paper on corporate responsibility” by Heather Lewis, is a documentation of best practice in northern India, where the findings of a study on the disastrous consequences of industrialization has led to the industry taking corrective action and renewal. 08.06.2007 The Global Anti-Incinerator Alliance (GAIA) will hold its third global meeting on September 15 - 18, 2007 in Spain. The meeting will strengthen the campaign against waste incineration as well as the movement of hazardous waste across national borders.
