29.07.2005 Telesur is the name of the new Latin American satellite television station which went on the air on Sunday 24 July, but opponents of Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez have already dubbed it 'Telechávez'. They're predicting that the president will use the station to promote his own ideas and as a propaganda tool to advance his 'Bolivarian revolution'.

The participants have also agreed about a joint regional input to the second World Summit on Information Society, that will be held in Tunisia in November. Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in a Conference which gathers Communication Ministers from South-eastern Europe in Thessalonica, Greece from 30 June to 1 July.
