The Youth Information Desk in Zenica was officially opened today, by the Mayor of Zenica Husein Smajlovic and the Executive Director of the Youth Information Agency, Jan Zlatan Kulenovic. The Youth Info Desk Zenica was established in partnership of the Municipality of Zenica and OIA B&H, with the financial support by the Open Society Institute B&H.

Ruchika Negi of the Women's Feature Service finds that five community groups in the north Indian mountain villages of Garhwal and Kumaon are helping people to access government schemes, fight corruption and discuss their everyday problems via the community radio. These five groups are working to create knowledge network societies in remote villages, where both newspapers and television have no reach.
