TechnoFuture, an innovative computerized educational tool, was launched last week by the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) at a roundtable chaired by President Olusegun Obasanjo. For just 4 cents, the services and information of 15 departments of the Union Territory (UT) of Chandigarh, India, can be at the service of the people. As per the Jan Sampark Project, which the UT Administration plans to launch in April, 2006, 70 kiosks will be set up in the citys sectors and villages to provide services and information of 15 UT departments, central government departments and private establishments.
