As the UK commemorates the end of the slave trade, a new Haitian sculpture will be unveiled today in Liverpool's Merseyside Maritime Museum. It will tour the country, taking in London and Bristol, before returning to Liverpool where it will remain on permanent display in the new International Slavery Museum, which opens on 23 August.

The CURE Foundation finds the February 8 reaction by Emir Malicevic, the Director of Travnik Municipality Cultural Centre, to deny the request by Alter Art association to use its facilities for a concert by Rijeka rock-bank “LET3”.

The fourth annual Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival (BHFF) has opened its submissions process and invites entries from filmmakers. Final submissions deadline is March 31, 2007. The committee will consider feature films, short films, documentary films, documentary short films and animated films by Bosnian-Herzegovinian filmmakers as well as films that have Bosnia and Herzegovina as their theme.
