Bandwidth on entry level ADSL broadband connections provided through telephone lines are to be raised from 256 kbps to 2 Mbps at no extra cost to the customer.

The capacity building programme was held for the field functionaries of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), which is a body of Indian youth, at New Delhi from 18 – 22 December 2006.
