In his address of the press after the meeting and talks with his counterpart from Sanski Most, Marko Pavic, the Mayor of Prijedor said that these two cities can approach the development funds in B&H and the EU easier if the two municipalities cooperate better.

The largest party in Kosovo, LDK, has decided that Fatmir Sejdiu who is the current General Secretary of the part and the head of its parliamentary caucus, will replace Ibrahim Rugova as the President of Kosovo. Kosovo news agency QIK, who was close to the late president, reports that there was a complete consensus in the meeting held today by the LDK.

Hundreds of thousands Kosovo Albanians and a great number of international representatives have flown Kosovos capitol, Prishtina to bid farewell to President, Ibrahim Rugova, who has died at age of 61 on Saturday, January 21 this year after a prolonged lung cancer.

Hamas politicians--who appear to have won a surprising victory in Wednesday's Palestinian parliamentary elections--say they are inspired by, but not in lock step with the group's militant core. Though considered a terrorist group by the U.S. and Israel, Hamas is also known at home for providing social services.

Kosovo leader Ibrahim Rugova has died after losing a battle with lung cancer. Mr Rugova, 61, died on Saturday in his residence in the Kosovo capital, Pristina, his spokesman announced.

Self-declared "patriots" took to the streets in Abidjan to protest the decision by international mediators to disband Cote d'Ivoire's National Assembly. The ruling party disagreed, saying parliament should remain in office and international monitors cannot interfere in state affairs.

She comforted the country's women, whom she said "bore the brunt of inhumanity and terror." And she spoke to its children: "I love you very, very much. In fact, a collaborative study has designed an integrated program that could treat all five diseases at once for $0.92 per person.

Since the U.S. agency tasked with protecting the environment announced a proposal to increase the amount of toxic waste companies may release, some 50,000 comments have poured in from the public. Investment firms, cancer researchers, and members of Congress have all expressed concern over the environmental and health impact of the proposal.
