25.11.2005 The polycentric WSF to be held at Karachi in Pakistan, previously planned to take place from January 24th to 29th, 2006, has been delayed by two months. The decision was taken during a meeting of the WSF 2006 Organizing Committee and Pakistani Social Forum National Committee in Lahore, on November 19th. The new date will be decided later.

While heads of states’ speeches present at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) were pouring in on all TV channels, revolution was just around the corner in another district of Tunis.
