The Civic Initiatives, in cooperation with the European Centre for Non-profit Law (ECNL) from Budapest, and under the auspices of the Civil Society Advocacy Initiative CSAI programme implemented by the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) prepares a Manual on Tax System for Civic Association in Serbia. The manual is financed by USAID.

After the indications that the Democratic Party (DS) and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) may soon reach agreement on the new Government, in which Vojislav Kostunica would keep the office of the Prime Minister, several NGOs invited the citizens to join their Veto Kostunica campaign.

Provoked by the recent statements by the Speaker of the Sabor (Croatian Parliament) and the Prime Minister that the Government doesnt plan to call for a referendum on Croatian entry into the NATO alliance, as well as the general communication strategy adopted by the Government on that issue, the Peace Studies Centre and Peace, Non-Violence and Human Rights Centre from Osijek prepared an open letter to Croatian political leadership.

The CESI Education, Counselling and Research Centre, in partnership with the Open Media Group (OMG), starts the implementation of the National Campaign for Prevention of Gender-Based Violence. The campaign aims to raise youth awareness about this problem and prevent gender-based violence.

OneWorld South Asia held its Sixth Annual Regional Meeting (ARM) at the Mirabel Resort Hotel, Dhulikhel, Kathmandu, Nepal on 27 - 28 February 2007. Around 200 delegates from civil society, government, academia, media, and the corporate sector across South Asia reflected on the theme Midway to MDGs: Accelerating progress through ICTs and adopted the Kathmandu Declaration, which demands concerted efforts to accelerate progress towards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

The Millennium Centre for Civil Society Development published Future of Civil Society, a book of speeches by assassinated Prime Minister Djindjic, his essays on conditions in the civil society, but also texts and essays by Vukasin Pavlovic from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Zoran Stojiljkovic and Srecko Mihajlovic from the Social Sciences Institute.

MOST Civic Association presented its publication My Representative, which offers findings from the monitoring of the work of MPs in the Sobranie of the Republic of Macedonia for the period August 2006-January 2007. The booklet didnt aim to analyze the work and behaviour of MPs or comment on them, but to present the pure data as collected.
