27.09.2003 Après le coup d'État en avril 2002 et l'échec de la grève patronale en février 2003, l'opposition vénézuélienne s'est lancée corps et âme dans la mise sur pied d'un référendum afin de révoquer le mandat du président Chavez. Mais différentes entorses aux procédures juridiques devant mener à un tel référendum ont signé l'arrêt de mort de ce projet, le 12 septembre. L'opposition n'a toutefois pas dit son dernier mot.
