CeSID's presentation of turnout results
31.10.2006 The Referendum on the New Constitution of Serbia succeeded, reports CeSID on the basis of its exit poll conducted on a representative sample of 600 ballot stations. 51.6% of all registered voters voted for the New Constitution. In absolute numbers, that is 108,000 votes more than the required threshold.

16.10.2006 We know that the US did support a military coup, which briefly overthrew President Chavez and the US had to back down, when he was restored quickly and also had to back down in the face of a very angry reaction in Latin American. In almost all of Latin America, there was a very angry reaction. They take democracy there more seriously then we do here.

16.10.2006 The Director for Public Relations at the Parliament of Albania has notified the editorial offices of the private media that starting on October 11, 2006, there shall be no live broadcasts of the plenary sessions of the Parliament. The reasons for this decision was explained with the need to sign specific contracts with the private TV stations.

At the same time, it apologized to the citiznes and to the members of SIPA for the “provoked brutality”.
