25.11.2006 It has been almost 13 years since President Bill Clinton played the saxophone given to him by then President of Czechoslovakia Vaclav Havel, at the stage of the Reduta Jazz Club in Prague. The two presidents shared the stage once again last Wednesday, this time at the Alfred Lerner Hall of Columbia University in New York, where they had an hour long public discussion titled Challenges of New Democracies.

08.11.2006 Voices for nuclear disarmament in the South Asian region will find the ISF a strong platform for voicing their pacifist views. Events like - Nuclear Free South Asia, People's Initiative for a Peaceful South Asia and Reducing Military Spending in India and Pakistan - the Peace Dividend - are taking place at the ISF on November 10 and 12. Most have been organised by Indian and Pakistani NGOs working on improving relations between the two countries.
