Sarvodaya expects to host one million people from all over the world - the largest gathering in Sri Lanka’s history - clad in white clothes to meditate for peace.

What next for Nepal?
28.08.2006 The UN has appointed Ian Martin as the new envoy to Nepal to spearhead efforts to promote peace in the troubled Himalayan country. The envoy has previously served on several occasions as special envoy to Timor-Leste.
