29.05.2006 U srijedu 24. 5. je u Skopju održan snažan protest protiv oružja i primjene oružane sile na kojem je sudjelovalo više tisuća ljudi. Skup je organiziran kao dio Međunarodnog akcijskog tjedna protiv oružja, ali i povodom smrti troje i ranjavanja šestero mladih ljudi u jednom internet caféu prošlog tjedna. Protest je vodio nedavno uspostavljeni građanski pokret Zgjohu! Shkup (Razbudi se, Skopje!), uz potporu organizacije Civil sa sloganima “Zaustavimo nasilje” i “Zaustavimo oružje”.

26.05.2006 Vlada RH jučer je usvojila konačan prijedlog Zakona o sigurnosno-obavještajnom sustavu RH kojim se regulira rad sigurnosno-obavještajnih agencija (SOA) i uputila ga Saboru. Konačan prijedlog Zakona došao je na dnevni red Vlade samo dva dana nakon rasprave organizirane od strane Centra za mirovne studije iz koje je proizašlo da u navedenom Zakonu postoje brojne odredbe koje mogu upućivati na povredu prava građana.

Manifestimi ishte organizuar si pjesë e Javës Ndërkombëtare Kundër Armëve të Vogla, si dhe në shenjë të vrasjes së tre dhe plagosjes së gjashtë të rinjve në një internet kafe, javën e kaluar.

25.05.2006 Yesterday, in Zagreb, the Centre for Peace Studies organized a round-table discussion on the draft-Law on Security and Intelligence System of the Republic of Croatia. The draft has already passed the first reading at the Sabor (Croatian parliament), and the text is now in the process of preparation for the second reading. CMS estimates that there are several disputable points and, yet, there was not wider public debate on the proposal.

11.05.2006 In un nuovo rapporto reso pubblico oggi, Amnesty International e TransArms chiedono l’urgente rafforzamento dei controlli sui trasferimenti di armi per fermare una catena sempre più in espansione di intermediari, aziende di servizi logistici e trasportatori che alimenta massicce violazioni dei diritti umani nel mondo. Un traffico che riguarda anche l'Italia, quarto produttore e secondo esportatore mondiale di armi leggere. Secondo dati di Amnesty International e TransArms, ogni anno in tutto il mondo circa mezzo milione di esseri umani sono
uccisi dalla violenza armata - ciò significa una persona al minuto - e ci sono 639 milioni di armi leggere di cui otto milioni vengono prodotte ogni anno. La spesa media annuale per l'acquisto di armi nel mondo è di 22 miliardi di dollari.

10.05.2006 Ars Aevi Centre for Contemporary Arts nga Sarajevo dhe Komisioni Ndërkombëtar për Personat e Zhdukur (KNPZh) prezantuan të Hënën, me 8 Maj një sërë posterash “Identifiko!” (Srebrenica:Podrinje Projekti i identifikimit) në Dubrovnik, tek Galeria Otok, organizuar nga Lazareti Art Workshop. Posterat ishin krijuar nga Ekipi i Krijuesve Ideologji nga Sarajeva.

10.05.2006 The Ars Aevi Centre for Contemporary Arts from Sarajevo and the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) presented, last Monday, May 8, the series of appeal poster “Identify!” (Srebrenica: Podrinje Identification Project) in Dubrovnik, at the facilities of the Otok Gallery, ran by the Lazareti Art Workshop. The posters were created by the Ideology Creative Team from Sarajevo.
