Eighty three per cent of refugee women feel so unsafe in Britain that they live under a self-imposed curfew, locking themselves indoors after 7pm. Refugee Action has documented (pdf) their experiences and campaigns for their right to live in safety. Pledge your support to encourage voluntary, statutory and private service providers to agree to minimum standards of safety for refugee women. January 2004
