In the 1960s thousands of people on the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean were secretly and brutally expelled from their homes by the British to make way for a military base, recently used to launch attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan, claims John Pilger in Stealing a Nation at 11pm on Wednesday 6 October on ITV1.
