A coalition of churches and Christian agencies is reviving an historic practice of public sermons in the City of London to raise awareness of global economic justice in the run-up to May Day. Attend the first sermon outside the Royal Exchange at 1pm on Friday 30 April.

Take part in the Churches Refugee Network conference on Saturday 22 May, 10am-4pm, London. The organisers aim to bring together church groups that work with or for refugees and asylum seekers to examine current developments in asylum law and practice, and to strengthen the Network.

Protest against the government's plans to deport Iraqi asylum seekers by joining demonstrations organised by the International Federation of Iraqi Refugees in Britain in Stoke-on-Trent on 3 April, Manchester on 4 April and London on 8 April. Iraqi asylum seekers in the UK and the UN High Commissioner on Refugees believe that the country remains unsafe.
