One of the themes of the work of photographer Carlos Reyes-Manzo is the difficulties faced by women around the world, reports Rachel Crews. And the difficulties dont get much grimmer than in Ciudad Juarez and Guatemala City, where hundreds of women have been kidnapped, raped and murdered.

Shooting Dogs - a new film about the 1994 Rwandan genocide - will be on general release in the UK from 31 March. Filmed in Rwanda and featuring many genocide survivors among the cast and crew, the film seeks to raise awareness of the atrocities.
