04.06.2004 WWF and SustainAbility are calling on owners of the UK media to give environmental issues more airtime. Speaking at the launch of a new report, released on 3 June, environmental campaigner Jonathan Porritt derided the absence of "fun, intelligent, sexy" programmes about issues such as climate change. Porritt also called on media execs to take responsibility for the negative impacts of their output.
