In June 2006, the Agency of Local Development Initiatives ALDI conducted an over the phone public opinion survey, with the aim to identify and categorize the perceptions that Bosnia and Herzegovina citizens have regarding the work of non-governmental organizations in the country.

The New Delhi-based Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is holding a specially-designed short training programme - Managing information resources in the digital age from August 22-25, 2006. The training will focus on how to manage all aspects and types of information at an institutional level.

The pro-EU integration opinion among B&H citizens remains high, shows the survey conducted by GFK Market Research Centre from Sarajevo. According to the survey, 83% of the citizens would vote for it, if a referendum on EU integration were held today, with only nine percent against it. The support is greater in B&H Federation and Brcko District (85%) than in RS (75%).

The Hesperian Foundation's classic manual has helped people take lead in their own health care and organize to improve health conditions in their communities. Simply written and heavily illustrated, the book is available in many languages.
