Effort to clean rivers
24.05.2007 Indian NGO, Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is organising a two-day media briefing workshop for journalists and media professionals on river pollution and cleaning strategies at India Habitat Center, New Delhi, India on June 14-15, 2007. The workshop will focus on Yamuna, a severely polluted river that cuts across the city.

09.05.2007 WASHINGTON, May 9 (IPS) - In the run-up to the March 2003 invasion of Iraq, the Pentagon planned to create a 'Rapid Reaction Media Team' (RRMT) designed to ensure control over major Iraqi media while providing an Iraqi 'face' for its efforts, according to a 'White Paper' obtained by the independent National Security Archive (NSA) which released it Tuesday.
