27.08.2004 At its urgent session of yesteday, the Government of Croatia adopted the decision to remove the memorial plaques for Mile Budak in Sveti Rok and Jure Francetic in Slunj, on the basis of Article 107 of the Constitution.

Trains travel between Ljubljana and Belgrade again
27.08.2004 The General Managers of the Railways of Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia signed an agreement on the introduction of a direct line cargo train “Sava Express”, which will travel the Belgrade-Zagreb-Ljubljana route once a week.

Red Cross vehicles and drivers are available to the drunken drivers.
24.08.2004 The Osijek branch of the Red Cross reports that it shall continue with the campaign for transportation of intoxicated drivers it started two years ago. The campaign is named “For your safety in traffic”. The Red Cross teams received seven calls for assistance over the past weekend and intervened in every case. They transported 19 persons, six of them drivers and 13 passengers.

05.08.2004 To compensate the losses of the farmers that saw genetically modified corn, the State will pay 12,88 million Kuna. The farmers that lost their crops will get 7200 Kuna per hectar.
