The UK Chagos Support Association has welcomed today's court ruling against the British government's "secret and illegal" attempt to banish Chagossians to make way for a U.S. nuclear base and urged London not to waste yet more taxpayers' money on another appeal.

Five years ago the idea of digital television in Africa would have seemed absurd. Now two countries have announced their intention to offer digital television. Senegal seems to have been first into the game, launching a pilot at the end of last year with 200 trial subscribers.
