19.12.2004 The Albanian authorities must establish how a 17-year-old received fatal injuries while in pre-trial detention and bring to justice those responsible for his death. Amnesty International today expressed its grave concern at the failure of the Albanian prosecuting and judicial authorities to account for the fatal injuries suffered by Eriguert Ceka in Rreshen (Mirdita region) police station in July 2004.

17.12.2004 In this moment the public education in Albania needs the contribution of all Albanians. Mjaft Movement will initiate a campaign (Fushata “A” – Campaign “A”, as Arsimi – which in Albanian means Education should be a priority), with the objective of lobbying in the parliament for the incrementation of the percentage of the state budget for the education.

13.12.2004 Young Intellectuals, Hope (IRSH) Association, in collaboration with Albanian Youth Parliament Shkoder, organised on December 8, the Youth Day, a "Poetry & Rock Party". This date coincides with the birthday of the famous rock man Jim Morrison, and the activity was held at Enjoy Pub in Shkoder.

Citizens’ Forum on local governance
09.12.2004 MJAFT movement in collaboration with the organisation “Young Intellectuals, Hope” (IRSH) in November the 21st, organised in Shkoder the public debate between the Major and the citizens of Shkodra. In the atmosphere of this activity and in addition to spread out good news from Shkodra, it was organized in the Rozafat Hotel the Fair of the Local Products. This initiative was supported by Soros Foundation and by the offices of OSCE.
