14.02.2005 Council of Employers Organizations, KOP (Albania) was invited to represent Albania in the VII Edition of the European Regional Meeting of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), taking place in Budapest, February 14-18. This year, Albania was one of the 50 countries chosen to participate in the Regional Meeting.

10.02.2005 Helga Konrad, OSCE Trafficking Representative, has declared that Albania is still far from fulfilling the standards and requirements of the European Union, related to the human trafficking. Human trafficking in Albania remains at a high level. That means that not only plan compiled by the Government is needed, but also concrete steps towards the implementation of that plan are necessary in implementation of this plans.
