28.04.2006 The copyrights in Albania are protected by law and is statutory in article 58 of the Albanian Constitution. On the other hand, Albania is signatory of a series of international conventions and treaties (the Bern, Rome, Geneva, Paris conventions) and member of OMPI (Organisation Mondiale de la Propriété Intellectuelle) as well.

26.04.2006 The Albanian Coalition for Children's Education, which includes 10 major child-rights organisations in the country, opened officially in Tirana 25 April 2006 the Campaign "Every child needs a Teacher", which in Albania is organised under the motto "Every child needs a qualified teacher". The campaign in Albania is part of the Global Campaign for Education, which takes place all over the world between 24-30 April and this year it is dedicated to teachers.
