30.09.2005 The PolioPlus association launched the campaign for promotion of the rights of mobility and access for the persons with special needs, aimed to provide more parking spaces for the persons with special needs in Macedonia.

28.09.2005 On the Occasion of September 28, the International Day of Freedom to Access to Information, Transparency Macedonia launched a lobbying campaign with the aim to accelerate the procedure for adoption of the Law on Access to Information of Public Character.

27.09.2005 Krusevo and Prilep will be the starting point of the caravan that will travel throughout Macedonia, with the intent to collect 10,000 signatures for the petition to adopt a Law on Protection of Rights and Dignity of Disabled Persons. The initiative was started by Polio Plus, in cooperation with 23 other associations of persons with special needs.

16.09.2005 Based on the opinion polls, conducted by the Institute of Democracy, Solidarity and Civic Society, more than 50 percent of the citizens of Macedonian nationality (50,7 percent) do not back the Framework Agreement, signed by the leaders of the broad government coalition, whilst, some 43.7 percent say the political settlement is the best option. The local daily Utrinski Vesnik quotes the results of the opinion polls.

06.09.2005 The Association of Private Electronic Media (APEM) and the Media Development Centre said yesterday that the decision by Skopje I Court of First Jurisdiction to prohibit “Radio Grom” from Skopje to use the term “sports radio” in the aether of the City of Skopje and believes that the court ruling is an obvious attempt of juridical meddling in the editorial policy of the radio.

05.09.2005 According to the Monitoring Mission of the Roma Lobby Group Coalition (RLG), the Second Round of the Extraordinary Local Elections for Mayor of Suto Orizari municipality was concluded peacefully, in accordance with the Law.

01.09.2005 The LIM PID Association for Urban Subculture Development presented today the “Dragon’s Kiss” regional project. The “Dragon’s Kiss” project aims to reduce the risks related to the lifestyle, cultural practices, sexual behaviour and drug-abuse of the youth in festival events in SEE.
