The discrimination of women is most dominant in Serbian print media, shows a survey of stereotypes, manners and strategies for discrimination of women in print media in SEE, conducted by the MediaCentre Sarajevo. The survey covered the daily press in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania and Serbia.

Ten months after B92 started its campaign for construction of a safe house for victims of family violence, and in spite of the bad weather, the construction works on the safe house in Rakovica Municipality were initiated last Monday, December 18.

The NGO Coalition “Cooperation for a Common Goal” prepared the second draft of the Strategy of Relations between the Government and NGOs in Montenegro, the “NGO Code of Conduct” and the “Structure of Public Funding Financing for NGOs”, and invites all stake-holders to comment on the papers through the Coalition’s web-site.

The Women in Black, provoked by the decision of the Dutch Government to award medals to the 350 soldiers that stood by and watched the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995, sent a letter to the associations of women from Srebrenica, in which they condemned the decision.
