Sarajevo joined Turin, Jerusalem and Rome and signed the Olympic Armistice Appeal. The official signing ceremony was held last Wednesday, October 26, at the Olympic Museum at Zetra sports Centre in Sarajevo.

As part of the International Day of Climate Protest (3 December) midway through the Montreal Climate Talks, demonstrations are planned all around the world. The London demo will pass the ExxonMobil office and the Australian Embassy on the way to the US embassy.

The Muslim, Catholic and Orthodox Church communities of Albania asked the prime minister Berisha to block the construction of the casino in downtown Tirana, and proposed a new legislation regarding this issue, which, aside from respecting the freedom of initiating such activities, should also take into account the welfare of the citizens and safeguard their interests.

Recently the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE announced a NATO Gallup that enraged both supporters of democracy and opponents of NATO. It also raised criticism in the media for the way it was conducted. In this inquiry, the majority of Finns had said no to NATO, but then they were asked whether they would support the countries leaders in case they decide to join it, and most had said yes. The result was broadcast as, The Majority of Finns would support political leaders if they decided to join NATO.

The Kosova [Kosovo] Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Development and the Veterinary and Food Service of Kosova (AVUK) informed today, in a public release, that the results of tests on four samples of poultry have shown that there are no signs of avian flu in Kosova. The tests were done by the Veterinary Institute of Kosova.
