30.03.2005 The Theatre Society DASKA, from Sisak, was established in 1976. Ever since the Croatian Rights Party (HSP) entered the local government in 2002, DASKA doesn’t receive any funding for its programmes by the city, in spite of the fact that it applies in all competitions for funding. For the past seven years, DASKA survives solely on the financing it receives by the Ministry of Culture.

29.03.2005 Kosovo Serb couple Nedeljko Vucic, 73, and his wife Nevenka, 71, were attacked and badly beaten in the village of Crkolez, near the Kosovo town of Istok/Istog, yesterday. The couple has been placed in Mitrovica hospital where they are receiving medical treatment for the serious injuries they have got.
