This year, for the second time in its 16 years of history, the project includes Croatia. After its start in Lithuania, the Biketour will proceed through Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia and is expected to arrive to Croatia in September 2006.

29.05.2006 The OSCE Mission to Serbia and Montenegro is alarmed by recent activities of the Republican Broadcasting Agency (RBA) Council. While the OSCE acknowledges the fact that an independent regulatory body should be entrusted with the authority to allocate broadcasting licences, it calls on the Council to respect national law and international standards, as well as decisions of judicial bodies such as the Supreme Court.

The conference, which will be closed on May 28, gathers representatives of national branches of TI from Europe and Central Asia, as well as numerous representatives of the public administration bodies of the Republic of Croatia.

25.05.2006 Thousands of people strong peaceful protest against weapons and armed violence was held yesterday in Skopje, the capitol of Macedonia. The rally was organized as part of the International Action Week Against Small Arms, as well as to mark the death of three and wounding six young people in an internet café, last week.
