Korac should appologize, say CURE
28.06.2006 Lidija Korac, sitting member of the B&H Central Election Commission, in her appearance in the “Korak” show on Hayat TV (June 27, 2006, 21:00 hours), allowed herself to say, among other misogynist statements, that “...not creating a family, should be seen as failure (for the women)”.

28.06.2006 The Humanitarian Law Centre presented its Transitional Justice Report for Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo 1999-2005. In her presentation of the Report, Natasa Kandic, the Centre Director said that Serbia failed to create responsible institutions, which is the main condition for the country “...to face the past and give justice”.

27.06.2006 The financing of election campaign is the main source of any future corruption and should be made as transparent as possible, to avoid a situation in which the anonymous financiers will come to the political parties and demand favours in return for the support. Only a faction of the political parties have publicly disclosed their sources of financing and their greatest supporters in the business sector.

26.06.2006 In compliance with the Cooperation Agreement concluded with the German Government, the BH Women Initiative (BHWI) Foundation announces the opening of public competition for financing of projects under the Economic Empowerment and Fight against Women Poverty Programme. Lisica EA accuses Ministry of Environmental Protection of gross neglect of problems
23.06.2006 The “Lisica” Environmental Association from Dolno Lisice demanded apology from Minister of Environmental Protection Zoran Sapuric and accused the Ministry of gross neglect of the interests of citizens and inaction in several cases of release of pollutants into the environment that took place over the past several weeks.
