Bry Lynas, aka Tiki the Penguin
He has been working for OneWorld since the late 90s, writing mainly on environmental issues. The first piece he ever wrote for OneWorld was on global warming, a mantle taken over by his son, writer Mark Lynas. Nevertheless, Bry is still heavily involved with climate change issues and is the editor of OneWorld's Climate Change News and OneClimate.net, OneWorld's recently-launched answer to Facebook and MySpace for climate change solutions. Bry lives in north Wales where he runs a small farm, growing organic vegetables and fruit for a box scheme co-op. He tries to practise what he preaches about sustainable living. He loves wild Scottish mountains and islands, and solitary week-long wilderness camping trips whenever he has the time. He's not all goody-goody, however, as he also enjoys good red wine, romantic dramas on the telly and the company of attractive, intelligent women especially his wife Val. He blogs at It's the Planet, Stupid! and on the Mur Crusto eco-farm blog. Email (or Bry) |
