Britt Jorgensen
Before leaving her native Denmark for London in 2000 Britt worked at Scandinavias leading thinktank Mandag Morgen on human capital, learning and creativity. She holds a BA as well as an MA in Information Studies - an interdisciplinary course about the influence of technology on people, organisations and society - and she was able to develop this knowledge further while working for the UK thinktank Forum for the Future, where she researched digital technology and sustainable development. While working at Metrocomia - a new media company with joint ventures in the South she specialised in global digital divide issues. She also managed to find the time to co-author a book Making the Net Work - Sustainable Development in a Digital Society. Occasionally you can catch Britts technology features on the National Danish Radio airwaves. She also practices Jivamukti yoga and loves to spend her time having fun with her baby son. |
