1000 PEOPLE PER DAY ARE KILLED BY ARMED VIOLENCE.
On Wednesday 10th May, activists of all kinds from around the UK will be coming to the House of Commons, to reiterate our call for an international Arms Trade Treaty. We're aiming to get in excess of 500 people to London for the event, so if you're available please consider attending! We need you to make an appointment to see your MP on that date, then come to London and simply talk to them about the Arms Trade Treaty. We'll begin the day at 9.30am for 10.00am, gathering at Friends House (173 Euston Road London NW1 2BJ, opposite Euston Station) for a full briefing. This will cover details of the day and will feature inspirational speakers to talk about the arms trade and the importance of continued campaigning. Then, Amnestys experienced Parliamentary staff will discuss with you how to lobby your MP, so youll be fully equipped for the day ahead! Once you've registered you'll receive a complete pack with all details of the days itinerary, as well as practical lobbying advice and a Q & A to help with details on the issue.
