Kevin Cahill, a local FRSA, has just surveyed every country, territory and rock sticking out of the ocean, across the planet, for his book of the above title to be published by Mainstream/Random House in November this year. It is the first such survey ever attempted and Kevin will give us a preview of his findings, which include:

The 5 largest landowners on earth.
Ending poverty. The prosperity factor. Investment not aid.
The 57% of the planet's land still in feudal tenure.
The factual history of landownership 10000 BC to 2005, in three sentences.
Benchmarking empires. What were they for (land) How many people did they kill to get it? (a lot)
The worlds myriad Domesdays - 1st was in 2035 BC (Ours was 1086 AD)
A crowded world? Not exactly. Hear the good news
The real UK, the country you know almost nothing about.
The 4th British Empire - you hadn't heard about that either.
