OneWorld Country Guides

OneWorld publishes online Country Guides which aim to provide a broad introduction to development issues in each subject country. We are keen to expand our portfolio.

OneWorld therefore has vacancies for online volunteer editors to create Guides for developing countries not yet featured in the OneWorld menu. Each Guide contains a 1,500 word article structured broadly under OneWorld's development theme headings plus a range of appropriate weblinks embedded in the text. Please see examples from the menu on this page.

To qualify for this assignment, volunteers should have:

thorough knowledge of development issues in the subject country
ability to write english to a high standard
sufficient time available to complete the assignment within 8-12 weeks of engagement (estimated 15-20 hours)

This is an opportunity to reach a global audience and play a part in OneWorld's mission to build awareness of the problems faced by developing countries. Please send your cv and covering email indicating your subject country to OneWorld UK in London.
