OneWorld UKs editors scan UK partners websites daily, selecting news, opinion and comment, special features, events, campaigns, and more to highlight on our web pages. Editors working with other OneWorld editions also often scan UK partners websites for international news.
OneWorld UKs editors use partners news releases as a quick and efficient way of selecting daily news and other content to feature on our web pages.
Whenever we highlight a partners content on our pages, we link readers to their website, notify the partner by email, and index the content to appear in our searchable database of millions of pages.
All OneWorld UKs top news stories are included in daily and weekly e-digests that we email to thousands of regular subscribers. Article summaries in the e-digests link directly to partners' websites.
Every day at least one top OneWorld UK news story appears on our global portal OneWorld.net (200,000 unique visitors, 1 million page views, and 10 million hits every month).
Every partner organisation is featured in our searchable partners directory.
Partners can submit news for inclusion in our regular International Partner News, which goes to the worldwide OneWorld partner community of 1,500-plus organisations (send to partnership@oneworld.net) and in UK Partner News, which reaches 500 people at 250 organisations in the UK and Ireland (uk@oneworld.net).
We use new sections of our UK edition to promote partners action alerts, campaigns, UK events and learning opportunities, and to share organisational news and notices with the UK partner community.
Partners have free access to advertising jobs and voluntary vacancies on OneWorld UK and OneWorld.net, one of our most popular services. To use this facility, visit jobs & volunteering, login with your user name and password, and enter (or set up) your jobs account.
Partners are welcome to contribute to our widely read guest editorials column, now published on four OneWorld editions (UK, OneWorld.net, Canada and US), reaching potentially 250,000 readers); send submissions and suggestions to miles.litvinoff@oneworld.net.
Partners have free access to Dgroups, a popular list-serve and e-discussion tool purpose-built for civil society.
Partners can now pay to advertise their events and campaigns on OneWorld UK. Soon we hope to offer this service on OneWorld.net as well.
When appropriate, we create webpages to support partners' coalitions and joint initiatives.
We invite partners to participate in OneWorld networking events, consultations and knowledge sharing opportunities.
