IICD and the Ghana Information Network for Knowledge Sharing have helped an artiste produce a CD Rom that aims to educate students about HIV/AIDS through comics. The CD Rom titled “AIDS The Ultimate Killer” tells the story of two friends who learn about the disease and share it with others.

The Building Digital Opportunities programme (BDO) is a collaboration between major governmental funding agencies and 5 implementing NGO's in Europe.The purpose of the programme is to develop genuine opportunities for poverty focused ICT for Development.

The first ICT awareness seminar held for mid-level and senior managers of NGOs and community-based organisations based in Arusha, Tanzania generated a good response. The seminar discussed the rationale for ICT use, their procurement guidelines and demonstrated their use.
