CARE International's Basic Education and Civil Society Project aims to identify and overcome difficulties children in Ghana face in acquiring a basic education and at the same time have an impact on local government in Wassa West district. Strengthening civil society organisations in the district, such as parent-teacher associations, farmers’ groups and other community groups, is a key component of the project.
