Media centar Nis

Media centar Nis (MCN) je medijska organizacija nastala kao rezultat projekta dve nevladine organizacije. Pomogli su nam i niska nezavisna produkcija uz podrsku USAID/OTI. MCN clan je Mreze jugoistocne Evrope za profesionalizaciju medija, medjunarodne organizacije koja okuplja medijske organizacije iz 18 zemalja istocne i jugoistocne Evrope. Nalazimo se u centralnom delu Nisa, na 250 kvadratnih metara prostora u kome su smesteni: sala za press konferencije, rezija, Media klub (internet kafe namenjen novinarima i posetiocima) i kancelarijama. MCN posvecen je edukaciji i treningu novinara i drugih medijskih profila u ovom delu Srbije. Tokom 2003. godine preko 100 novinara proslo je razlicite nivoe obuke. Ova delatnost predstavlja napor MCN da utice na povecanje profesionalnosti i nivoa znanja zaposlenih u medijima.

Workshop on Court Procedures Against Journalists

13.06.2005 A three day workshop (June 13-15) started today at the Media Centre Nis. The workshop will deal with court trials and charges brought against journalists for slander and libel.

Course on Public Administration and Free Access to Information

25.03.2005 The Committee of Human Rights Lawyers YUCOM and the Media Centre Nis organize a two day advanced Public Administration and Free Access to Information course. The Course will take place at the MCN, today and tomorrow (March 25-26).

Media Centre Nis

17.11.2004 Media Centre Nis is a media organization created as a result of a joint project of two NGOs, with support of an independent production company from Nis and financial assistance from USAID/OTI. MCN is located in downtown Nis, in great facilities, and boasts a conference room, editing boards, Media Club (internet cafe for journalists and visitors), as well as abundant office space.
