21.03.2007 Public broadcasting systems face many difficulties, both in Western Europe and in the new democracies and post-communist countries where this very concept remains rather new. In specific context of multinational or multiethnic societies such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, the process of creation of a public broadcasting system is further complicated by ethnic divisions in society and post-war circumstances that created and continue to create huge obstacles.

12.01.2006 Reporters and journalists from the print media in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro are invited to apply for participation in a five-month course for specialization in investigative journalism on the topic of organized crime. The programme involves distance learning courses and work on topical stories during the regular daily work, combined with short workshops in Sarajevo. The deadline for application for the Class of 2006 expires on January 23, 2006.

29.03.2005 Mediacentar Sarajevo obilježava 10 godina uspješnog rada i postojanja. Svečani koktel povodom ovog jubileja bit će organizovan 1. aprila u 19.00 sati i počet će otvaranjem izložbe «Naslovne strane - TRIO Sarajevo», nakon čega će biti prikazan kratki film o svakodnevnom radu pod nazivom «Mediacentar 2005.» Programu i koktelu prisustvovat će partneri i prijatelji Mediacentra iz Bosne i Hercegovine i svijeta.
