Kansalaisten maailmannäyttämöllä tarkastellaan kriittiisesti globalisaatiota ja sen vaikutuksia kansalaisiin ja ympäristöön niin etelässä kuin pohjoisessa. Näyttämö on kaikille avoin ja toimii Suomen lisäksi Tansaniassa, Brasiliassa ja Intiassa.

CGP will be present at the World Social Forum in Nairobi and will organise three round table discussions on the 21st of January 2007. All activities will take place in the Moi International Sport Center in Kasarani. Everybody is most welcome to participate in the discussions.

The Citizens' Global Platforms (CGP) workshop on strengthening the role of civil society in multi-stakeholder fora called for more co-operation between civil society organisations, including the trade unions and parliamentarians. Partnerships with local governments were also encouraged. CGP brings together civil society actors from the South and North to tackle the negative impacts of globalisation.
