African Medical & Research Foundation

AMREF is the largest African health organisation in the world, providing health care and training across the continent. Its mission is to improve people’s health as a means for them to escape poverty. With country programmes in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia and South Africa, AMREF focusses on HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, water and sanitation, family health, health training and surgical outreach.
