Centar za razvoj neprofitnog sektora

Centar za razvoj neprofitnog sektora je nevladina, nezavisna, neprofitna institucija, koja ima ulogu informativno-dokumentacionog, komunikacionog, savetodavnog i istrazivackog centra. On je resursni centar, servis organizacija koja pruza usluge neprofitnim, dobrovoljnim, nevladinim organizacijama u Srbiji i Crnoj Gori. Osnovan je krajem 1996. godine, sa ciljem da pomogne izgradnju i obnovu nevladinih organizacija i neprofitnog sektora u SR Jugoslaviji (Srbiji i Crnoj Gori), te da podstakne razvoj autonomnih gradjanskih inicijativa i civilnog drustva.

29.05.2007 After it announced its action “Placate Your Hero”, the BIRO Movement received a number of threats from members of various neo-Nazi organizations. Fearing the united neo-Nazis and nationalist may direct their aggression towards BIRO activists, the movement decided to conduct its action a day earlier.
