13.01.2006 Rainforests continue to disappear at an alarming rate despite attempts to "zone" areas for protection and management, according to a new report, which says that timber companies that were allocated vast areas in countries such as Indonesia, Brazil and Cameroon then damaged or destroyed the forest.
